Free Books on Kindle

Amazon Prime Kindle Owners Lending Library  allows you to check out free books on Kindle. In general you’re allowed to check out any eligible book during a month, be that calendar month or 30 day period. You can keep it for as long as you want, but then must “return” it before you can check out another. In practice it’s quite simple and one of the ways to get free books on Kindle. Announcing New Additions to The Kindle Unlimited Program Tip:  I have had people do this with several of my books, but there is on major “gotcha” that could bite you in the butt unexpectedly. You must use your Kindle to find the book in the store, and you must click the “Borrow for Free” button in gray below the “Buy for..” button in orange. Otherwise you will be charged for it. In that case so long as you have not read up to a certain point (I believe 10%) you can return it. Then you can get your free books on Kindle the way Amazon wants you to. Writing Quote from Chekhov

My own experience is that once a story has been written, one has to cross out the beginning and the end. It is there that we authors do most of our lying. – Anton Chekhov With  My Sweet Infected , this is how it begins and ends, for sure. In the absolute middle of nowhere. I also don’t elaborate on the pre-apocalypse either. My Sweet Infected – The Red Cover, 2nd printing That will be for a prequel, if anyone is interested. Post by Charles Miske .

Writing Quote from Willa Cather

Most of the basic material a writer works with is acquired before the age of fifteen. – Willa Cather Is that why I feel most at home writing Young Adult Fiction? I have a real solid connection to my character Emma, from “ My Sweet Infected ” who is around 17. Her special friend Linda is around 15, and Porter is kind of ageless in this book. In a prequel we’ll deal with his history, and pinpoint his age somewhat. Did anyone read it and want to leave a review? If you do, I’ll send you a signed 8×10 print of the Red Cover.  CLICK HERE  for details. This is well within the guidelines set by Amazon and Goodreads. An author friend has been doing something similar for quite a while and he says it’s been a lot of fun connecting with his reviewers. So let me know what you think? Am I deluded or is Young Adult a good niche for me? My Sweet Infected, the Red Cover

Don’t Read The 100 Calorie Diet Plan Before Commenting

I posted this article on another of my blogs:  Losing Weight While Gaining Muscle  CLICK HERE  In it I state that it is almost impossible for an average person with an average metabolism to lose weight while gaining muscle without a fair amount of chemical and psychological support. Sadly, losing weight while gaining muscle is asking your body to two do completely different things at the exact same time. In general, to gain muscle, you need to train your muscles with a bodybuilding protocol. You will do a moderate volume of training at heavy weights. You will go to failure. Your muscle cells will grow and multiply. With more and bigger muscles you will weigh more. This is simple math with simple proven medical science. Your metabolism will adjust so that you can rest more while muscle growth occurs. Sometimes you will have to eat more. — Seven Summits Body Blog The 100 Calorie Diet Plan I then proceeded to suggest The 100 Calorie Diet Plan  CLICK HERE , a simple system of po
