I've finished writing the ebook "Elbrus Race 2013" about the adventure race in Russia that I and Todd Gilles, national figure skating champion, competed in. It was great fun in spite of the whiteout along the course between cliffs and crevasses. When the book is live, presumably tomorrow, I'll put up links for you to buy it.

It was pretty short, and not much happened aside from depressing cultural attitudes and events that were pretty much historically correct. No one here was particularly easy to empathize with. The "Cat Woman" was pretty passive. The Cat was pretty passive. The antagonist was stated to be aggressive. It ended in a "he got his" way, but it was still unsatisfying. When I'm in full on writing mode, I can crank out up to 10,000 words a day.That's not normal though.
