This review is from: It's In His Heart (A Red River Valley Novel) (Kindle Edition)
I normally dislike these types of books, but it was the lesser of the several evils in the Kindle First program that month. I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would though. The main characters were well developed. Their mutual adoration of the deceased was a bit overbearing to me, having actually been in their shoes at one point in my own life. Their ROMCOM stereotype romance was pretty predictable, but still enjoyable. A few side characters stole the stage a time or two.

Overall, yeah, if you want a light romance with some "they belong together, don't know it, but aren't allowed to be" vibe going, this is pretty entertaining.

I really did enjoy this more than I should have. It was a light fluffy feel good romantic comedy. You know, where everyone in the world knows these two misfits belong only to one another to protect the rest of the world from their craziness? Yeah. That kind. Read it to kill a few hours.

I got mine free, and if you have Kindle Unlimited, totally go for it. Otherwise, if you are a romantic comedy story fan, it's probably worth the $5.99.

Review: The 10 Biggest #Workout Mistakes

The 10 Biggest Workout Mistakes: Are one of these mistakes slowing your progress? by Dr. Len Lopez My rating: 3 of 5 stars So/So. Average. 3. yep. If you took a handful of bullet points, wrapped them in repetitive catch-phrases, and added in some links to your other projects, you'd have this book. Would it be at all helpful to anyone? Yes, if you are needing to do actual aerobic exercise and need to be smacked in the face with it over and over and over until it works finally - this might be the book that does that. If you're trying to get in shape or achieve some specific level of fitness, then no. View all my reviews

Revenge Of The Cat Woman: A Short Story Set in Old Japan [#short #horror]

Revenge Of The Cat Woman: A Short Story Set in Old Japan by Yael Eylat-Tanaka My rating: 3 of 5 stars I'm not certain what happened here. It was pretty short, and not much happened aside from depressing cultural attitudes and events that were pretty much historically correct. No one here was particularly easy to empathize with. The "Cat Woman" was pretty passive. The Cat was pretty passive. The antagonist was stated to be aggressive. It ended in a "he got his" way, but it was still unsatisfying. The ghost was merely a suggestion, perhaps a shadow of guilt. It was free, took only a few minutes to read, and was probably worth both the money and time. View all my reviews

New Year, New You, Amazing Bling Deal

Your New Year should include at least a couple of different things. Resolutions and/or Goals Rewards and/or Compensations I know you probably haven't really thought about either of those yet, but now that Christmas is out of the way it's time to get cracking on it. FREE WEBINAR - START NOW Resolutions and/or Goals First of all, you need a plan. I'm sure you've heard the ads from NordicTrack that incline training burns more fat faster than just about any other type of training. I have a NordicTrack incline treadmill myself, and I love it. But did you know that you can do the exact same type of training without one? Regular treadmills often go up to 15% incline and that's plenty steep enough for most training goals. You can also use stairs, box stepping, and hill running. I wrote a book about how to succeed at incline training, and I want you to have a free paperback copy of it worth $26.55 . That's the current price that Amazon is charging today ...
